GuestTel Ltd. is derived from two parent companies, one in Telecom, “Room Links” the other in interactive media, E-Port Interactive Media.

Room Links developed & deployed wireless internet & telecom for hotels since 1998, and were involved in wholesale VoIP to cable companies. Room Links acquired & installed 85,000 hotel rooms with VoIP telecom and broadband.

Room Links had installed Voice over IP and broadband into over 45 hotels in Vancouver. Some hotels include, the Wedgewood, The Westin Bayshore, Sheraton Wall Centre, Listel, The Empire Landmark, The Westin Grand, Rosedale on Robson, the Grandville Island Hotel, the Delta Suites and several others.

Our team has extensive experience with interactive user engagement, hotel PMS , call accounting and IT infrastructures in hotels . Our combined experiences uniquely allow us to integrate mobile solutions which are already in operations in Asia and Europe and adapt them to the billing and cellular carrier standards here in Canada and the US.

Joel Burke, President/CEO

With over 25+ years digital-media & entrepreneurial experience, Joel has founded several digital-media & post-production companies, a publically traded vocational media-school chain, and founder of E-Port Interactive Media, a 8-year old creative agency specialized in developing touch-interactive applications. Joel is in charge of the operational architecture and modeling behind the in-room phablet system.

Mark Rattée, VP of Business Development

Mark has over 25 years of business and entrepreneurial management, marketing, promotion and business modelling.
With many start ups under his belt, Mark brings a wealth of experience to the team with hands on involvement in marketing, business development and imagineering.

Jason Arnold, Acting Technology Manager

Former president Webnet Global, Roomlinx and current President www.shair.com Mr. Arnold has been responsible for the Engineering, Design, Replacement, Integration and Maintenance of the Wholesale Voice Network and Data networks, enabling partners to successfully deliver voice and fax over IP. More recently He has been The CTO for Webnet global and Titan Telecom. Jason has 14 years expertise focusing on Building Companies, Business Development, New Product Development, Management & Sales in the Communications Industry, all stages of a company’s organizational life cycle – Conceptual to Revitalization.

Richard Peacey, Acting Sales Manager

Founding member of Roomlinx, an earlier innovator in wireless communications and broadband since 1998. After leaving Roomlinx in 2004 He began working in the tech support market for telecommunications, television and the software industries. His accomplishments include building up a client base of over 200,000 guestrooms with his former employer Superclick now part of AT&T. Subsequently he has ventured out developing his own direct client base which now totals over 950 hotels. His private firm currently operates in over 150,000 guestrooms . He and his team have extensive call centre and outsourced IT experience. The hotel properties he represents are predominantly In Eastern Canada, New York, Florida and the Eastern US.
